Well, not really.

I’ve spent the last year getting used to the new normal of daily life. I’m the busiest I’ve ever been, at least it seems that way!

Biggest lesson of the year – you’ll never have the time. You have to make it. One day you just wake up and move everything round in your house and make the space. I’ve been more creative in the last couple of weeks than in the whole of last year. It’s been fantastic. While we have a lot to contend with/worry about with the world generally and specifically with AI , I feel that maybe it’s important to keep a corner of the internet with the messy aesthetics, and the uncool, untrendy vibe!

Personally, I’m going to avoid using AI. I might have to change a lot of things I do and I’m looking into it all. I know realistically we can’t avoid sites using it. Everywhere seems to use it. Even as I’m publishing this post there is an option to “improve with AI”. Any tips or suggestions would be gratefully received. I’m getting less tech savvy as the years go on and I’m second guessing everything. Is the spell checker AI? What about NPC’s in my video games? Honestly starting to feel a bit dumb! At least I know where I am with pen and paper…
